Good News!! New Method to Apply for Nigheban Ramadan Rashan Package - 2024 Latest

Under the compassionate guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab government has launched the heartwarming ‘Nigheban Ramadan Programme’ to extend a helping hand during the sacred month of Ramadan. This initiative is deeply rooted in the ethos of caring for every household by providing essential support such as free Punjab Ehsaas Rashan Riayat and vital utilities.

Nigheban Ramadan Rashan Package Registration:

The ‘Nigehban Ramadan packages’ are now available for online enrollment, offering families enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) with a Poverty Income Test (PMT) score below 32 the opportunity to receive much-needed assistance.

Nigehban Free Atta Project:

To ensure inclusivity, a user-friendly online platform, the Nigehban Free Atta Project, has been established for new registrations. Here, individuals can navigate with ease, providing their details with a sense of hope and anticipation for the support they require during this blessed month.

Eligibility Criteria:

In the spirit of solidarity, applicants seeking assistance under the Nigheban Program in 2024 must meet certain criteria, ensuring that aid reaches those most in need. These criteria include:

  • Maintaining a poverty level below 30%
  • Having an income below the poverty line, demonstrating the genuine need for support
  • No history of international travel or possession of a passport, reflecting the local focus of the program
  • Absence of vehicle registration in the applicant’s name, highlighting the emphasis on aiding those without significant assets

Upon successful verification, eligible applicants will receive not just supplies, but a comforting reminder that they are not alone during this challenging time.

Conditions for Rejection:

Amidst the warmth of this initiative, it’s important to note that certain circumstances may prevent individuals from applying for the Nigehban Ramadan package. These include:

  • Exceeding the income threshold of Rs 60,000, a threshold set to prioritize those with the greatest need
  • Owning a vehicle registered in the applicant’s name, recognizing that those with more resources may not require the same level of assistance
  • Poverty levels exceeding 30%, signaling that while support is offered, it must be directed where it is most impactful
  • Ownership of registered land or having undertaken the sacred journey of Hajj or Umrah, reflecting the unique circumstances that may impact eligibility.
